FurSnug

Birman Cats are a breed of domesticated cats. They have a silky, long, and shaggy coat that is either white or white with a few patches of color. The Birman is one of the oldest breeds of cats in the world.

They are named after the Burmese city where they were first discovered. Birmans are intelligent and gentle cats that love attention from their owners. They are also known for their affectionate and loyal nature.

Birmans can come in any color, though generally, they are white or cream with a few dark markings (such as black lines on the face or dark spots on the body). They also have a variety of colors within the white and cream, such as lilacblue, deep brown, pale red, and even a light gray or silver. People are usually born with their markings and color.

Breeds of Birmans include the American Shorthair, British Shorthair, Burmese Shorthair, Exotic shorthair (also called Oriental shorthair), Siamese, American Curl, and British Curl.

The Himalayan is the only breed of Birmans that is recognized by the International Cat Association (TICA)." Birman" may also refer to a style of roundbrimmed straw hat made in France.

✅Who am I?

I'm a crazy cat guy who likes to learn about cats and share that knowledge with anyone who's interested. I love cats because I see them as amazing animals, and they should get credit for who they are not just what they can do. This is why I really want to help change people's perspectives on the reputation of cats.
