The best view in the Brecon Beacons? | An epic wildcamp on the summit of Craig Cerrig-gleisiad

A wildcamp on the summit of Craig Cerriggleisiad one of the lesser known peaks in the Brecon Beacons but arguablely one of the finest views.

The 629m mountain is nicknamed the Eiger of the Beacons due to extremely steep north face.

Conditions for the wildcamp were perfect and we were treated to an incredible sunset, managed to photograph the milky way and had a magnificent sunrise, all without seeing a single human being.

Free parking is available in a layby on the A470 between the Storey Arms and Brecon. From the layby you pass into a nature reserve before either heading left directly up to the summit or going straight on and looping up and around the ridge.

As always with wildcamping don't be a tosser and leave no trace.
