Welcome back to What’s For Tea :) Today I made this absolutely DELICIOUS lasagne in the slow cooker! I have adapted this from a recipe I found online…the original recipe didn’t include mushrooms :) But I think mushrooms go well in a lasagne!

What I used (Serves 45 generously)
1 Tablespoon Olive oil (for frying)
450g (1lb) Beef steak mince/ground beef
1 Small onion Finely diced
3 Cloves garlic Finely chopped
Handful of mushrooms Diced
1 Tablespoon Italian seasoning
1 & 1/2 Cans sieved tomatoes or passata
1 Can chopped tomatoes (800g/28oz)
4 Tablespoons tomato puree or tomato paste
800g (28oz) Ricotta cheese
1 Egg
60g (1/4 cup) Grated parmesan cheese
Lasagne sheets (I used 9)
600g (6 cups) Grated/shredded mozzarella cheese
A few basil leaves optional
Salt to taste
