One of the best parts about owning a Tesla is the ability to camp in the car with climate control. Whether you have a Tesla Model 3, Model Y, Model S or Model X, you have the ability to travel, and sleep in your car in climate controlled comfort!

As much as I travel in my Tesla Model Y, I have always been on the look out for the perfect mattress to comfortably sleep in the car. And although I was able to get a mattress that is super comfortable, the 6" trifold foam mattress takes up nearly all the cargo space in the Model Y.

On the other end of the spectrum were some air mattresses, that after testing, just were not comfortable at all. So given the available mattresses out there, Jerry at formytesla.com and I decided to design a new mattress specifically for all Tesla models.

This self inflating mattress combines the comfort of a foam mattress with the portability of an air mattress. Being able to get a plush and comfortable mattress while still stowing away in the sub trunk or frunk of the Tesla Model Y is the perfect balance.

This mattress will fit in the frunk and the sub trunk of the Tesla Model Y, Model S and Model X. For the Tesla Model 3, this mattress will only fit in the sub trunk. But, you will have a much more comfortable option that won't take away all of your cargo space, allowing you to bring your camping essentials with you.
