With the growing demand for adventure bikes, the mainstream motorcycle manufacturers have come up with some pretty sweet bikes. You might be looking at smaller adventure bikes, but they’re not stable on the highway, or you might be looking at the bigger bikes, but they’re harder to handle off road.. so the most logical option is to go for a middleweight adventure bike.
In this video I’ll cover the top 5 adventure motorcycles of 2021 and rank them in order from least preferred to the most preferred.

Starting with the least preferred motorcycle, in 5th place, the Husqvarna 701 enduro LR.

The 692cc single cylinder engine produces 74hp and 52 lbsft of torque, with electronic fuel injection and an incredible fuel capacity of 25 litres.
A 9.8” inch suspension travel both front and back providing a ground clearance of 10.6 inches. Weighing in at 390lb wet. The bike costs $12500.

The fourth bike, the BMW F850GS.

A tad on the heavier side, the BMW makes up for its weight with some great power and truly fun and capable adventure bike. The 853cc parallel twin cylinder engine produces an astonishing 95hp and 67.9 lbft of torque. With electronic fuel injection and a fuel capacity of 15 litres.

With 8 inches of suspension travel and providing a ground clearance of 9.8 inches. Weighing in at 504 lbs wet. The BMW costs $13350 dollars in the US.

The third bike, the Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro. The 853cc VTwin engine produces an impressive 93.9hp and 64 lbft of torque.

With about 9 inches of suspension travel providing a ground clearance of 9.5 inches. Weighing in at 443 lbs wet. The Triumph costs $16200 USD.
The second bike and now we are getting into some serious hard hitting off roaders.

The KTM 890 Adventure R. Powered by a 889cc parallel twin engine, produces an impressive 105 hp and 73.7 lbft of torque with electronic fuel injection.

With 9.4 inches of suspension travel, providing a ground clearance of 10.4 inches. Weighing in at 463 pounds wet. The KTM costs $14200 USD.
And finally, my favourite pick, in first place the Yamaha Tenere 700.
Powered by a 689cc parallel twin engine, producing 73hp and 50 lbft of torque.

With about 8 inches of suspension travel, providing an immense ground clearance of 9.4 inches. And weighing in at only 452 lbs wet. The Yamaha costs only $9,999 and therefore gives the most value for money out of all of these middle weight adventure bikes.
