In this episode of K9 Mounties, a litter of puppies is examined to see which pups display the necessary characteristics and instincts expected from a Police Dog.

Watch as some of Canada’s finest police officers are pushed to the limit in a gruelling 17 week training programme at the PCMP’s Police Dog Service Training Centre in Canada. We then see how much they have learnt as their new skills are put to the test in tough reallife situations. Both dog and trainer go through this intense and physically demanding training which requires self motivation, tenacity and fitness. Teamwork is the goal, and the bond between man and dog is inseparable as they work together to find lost people, track wrongdoers, search for explosives and protect VIP’s.
