We got invited to fish the 7th annual Grand Caribe Deep sea Classic out of San Pedro Island, Belize. This was a 2 day tournament with over $125k in cash and prizes. The tournament was based on a point system with different species being worth different amounts. Blue Marlin are worth the most amount of points in this tournament, so most boats spend their time trolling for these deep sea giants.

The country of Belize is beautiful with crystal clear water, abundant flats and the second largest barrier reef system in the world. We got to dive at the famous sandbar with stingrays and nurse sharks after the tourney was over. We will certainly be back to fish and dive this amazing country.
