I’m always in super thankful mode every Thanksgiving but I was way more thankful this Thanksgiving. I was flustered and we pretty much should have taken a breather considering the events that unfolded days prior. I had everything set, including fresh flowers to get my tablescape done and filmed for YouTube after church on Sunday. Let’s just say I didn’t make it home till Wednesday. So this was an all hands on deck kind of Thanksgiving. We all worked together to get our dinner ready. The menu was simple. I didn’t have the luxury of time to bake my signature carrot cake so I bought pies from a good bakery and served it with homemade soursop ice cream All in all we had a great day with countless reasons to be thankful.
