We said goodbye to Malaysia, and hello to Thailand. After a couple of days of travelling, we reached the island of Ko Lanta and it was absolute heaven straight away. Peaceful vibes, beautiful beaches, amazingly delicious food (also cute local cats everywherewhich we loved).
We beach hopped and found our perfect spot to chill for a while.

Tips for Thailand:
cheapest ATM fee we found was 250 THB/$7 USD per transaction (yikes!)

Ko Lanta tips/info:
potable water refills available on main street for cheap
large Muslim population
less developed/touristy than other islands (we loved this)
prices pretty consistent for everything throughout the island
more of a cat island: we saw minimal stray dogs but plenty of well taken care of friendly local cats (also loved this)
