Welcome to day four of our road trip across America to experience all the Dirt World has to offer!

We spent the day in Texas, beginning with my good friend John Schideck. John's an earthmoving wizard who was working on building a turning lane into a new development alongside his dad. Not only did he have us out on site, but he provided us with a spot to park the RV for two nights!

Our second stop was with Lone Star Paving. Companies like Lone Star have worked hard to keep the city's infrastructure growing as people have moved to Austin. While we only had a little time, we saw them pave a road into a new subdivision. Thousands of people will use the road daily to drive to and from home.

FINALLY... We visited Central Texas Stone and Aggregate's quarry north of town to see what it takes to produce the foundation for all the growth. Under every road and building pad lies crushed rock, and the folks at CTSA blast, haul, and crush Texas limestone to make it happen.
