AT&T Stadium in Arlington was the place to be on Saturday. The Texas 6A Division I high school football championship game was a Movie. It was the first ever Texas state championship game where father and son, both head coaches squared off against each other. The game also featured two of the top junior quarterbacks in the nation, Cade Klubnik of Westlake and Ohio State commit Quinn Ewers, the number 1 player in the nation, class of 2022.

Westlake:

Klubnik completed 18 of 20 passes for 220 yards , 1 TD and rushed for 97 yards and 2 scores. Westlake racked up 528 total yards of offense, including 308 on the ground. Senior Michael Taaffe was a monster on defense with 2 interceptions.
Southlake Carroll:

Ewers completed 23 of 39 passes for 350 yards and three touchdowns. Wide receive Brady Boyd (#14) , Minnesota commit put on a show. He had 11 catches for 190 yards and 2 TDs.
