As you can see after three months of routine use on the driver seat I’m still very pleased with my decision to go with the white interior. I bought this car in December of 2018 and still the seats appear to be holding up great even in the occupation I work in. The most prone part of the seat is the very side edge where we all get in and out rubbing the material with whatever clothing we are wearing. I would take extra care when applying the ceramic coat to the driver seat due to the fact it's the most used seat. I personally applied 3 coats to this seat alone. There is one stain after 3 months that has appeared which I’m hoping will come up after this cleaning and of course the original blue streak on the rear seat that formed but this was before I applied the ceramic coat. Maybe it's just me, but it appears to be slowly fading over time. I also do a little bit of ridesharing in this car and looking at the rear passenger seat which is almost always used first, still looks brand new. Before cleaning your seats it's very important to vacuum your interior. I found this little handy vacuum on amazon that plugs directly into the cigarette adapter on the model 3’s center console. It's also great for getting into all those hard to reach creaves with its included adapters. I’ll post a link for this in the description. After you have vacuumed the seats very thoroughly, I wiped down the seats with a high quality microfiber towel and this lithium hyper cleanse solution. I would recommend doing this at least once a month to maintain the white color pop of the interior. Again I waited 3 months just to show you all the clean up process. Regarding the ceramic coat protectant I applied in my last video; a few of you have asked if it made the seats feel any different. I can tell you I have applied two coats to all of the seats and I felt no change in the softness of the leather. It did not make the seat material harden nor cause any type of chemical reaction to the interior. While my driver seat was not heavily saturated in dirt or stains, after the cleanup, the seat still appears in great condition. I wouldn't call it brand new looking but really I am happy with how they still look after two years. Regarding that little stain we saw earlier, most of it came right up except that little tiny dot.I may have to spray the hyper cleanse solution again and let it sit on there for a few minutes. Really though, this is hardly noticeable, I had to really focus the camera to see this. From far away you can't even tell. For anyone getting the white interior on their current or future tesla I would say ceramic coating your seats is a must.
