Teochew Peach Shaped Kuih , also known as Fan Tao Kueh, is a traditional kueh of Teochew people. Teochew Peach Shaped Kuih is usually red or pink, because in Chinese traditional customs, "red" represents joy; "Red Peach shape" means longevity. This peach kuih made by the Shadajie even left overnight, it was still very soft. Unfinished peach cake can be refrigerated in the refrigerator. When you want to eat, you can steam it or fry it with a little oil before eating. The fried peach cake is very delicious!

1 peach cake mold (65g)

Yield: 8 red Peach Shaped Kuih

Kueh skin Ingredients:
125g rice flour
25g glutinous rice flour
220g water
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tsp sugar
little red food coloring


Filling:
80g glutinous rice
3 shiitake mushrooms (soaked, diced)
5 shallots
25g dried shrimp
15g salted pickles radish
half a sausage
50g peanuts (boil for 30 minutes until soft)
celery

Seasoning:
1 teaspoon light soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tsp sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 tsp pepper
1 tsp fish sauce
12 tablespoons water
Stir well

P/s:
***Appropriate amount of rice flour as hand flour
***Appropriate amount of banana leaf pad steaming plate (coated with cooking oil)
