This is Karl the Rottweiler's second lesson. We already taught him the basics of engaging to his person, Jerome, so here we will work on some obedience basics, namely SIT and STAY. There are some very important things to look out for to keep your dog from getting confused. We want to make training fun and reward the dog for his successes. We also want to help him learn by limiting mistakes and growing from them. That's why you'll see I praise for attempts, but REWARD for success. This is huge!
