In this Cat School lesson, you will teach your cat to jump from the floor into your arms. This trick is a PURRfect way to increase your cat's activity and strengthen your bond. It can take many sessions to build your cat's confidence to jump and climb you. Go slow, and always make training easy for your cat.

Disclaimer: Cats are natural jumpers. But if your cat has not been practicing jumps, make sure their physical condition can support the effort and energy required to do this trick. If your cat is reluctant to participate, it could be because they are sore and it hurts to jump/climb you. Checkin with your veterinarian to make sure participating in jumps is safe for your cat. Place a yoga mat on the floor to prevent your cat from slipping.
