This tea ceremony is a practice you can do while steeping your tea. Sa, means birth. Ta, means life. Na, means death. Ma, means rebirth. You are a part of this creation cycle, along with everything and everyone around you.

As you touch thumb to each fingertip, you activate the associated elements of fire, air, ether, earth and water each element is found in the practice of drinking tea: tea leaves from the earth, fire to heat the water, air to cool the tea and ether with the intentions going out to the universe.

Follow along with the 6 minute Sa Ta Na Ma mudras and chant by singing (voice of action) for one minute, whispering (inner mind) for one minute, saying it silently (spiritual voice) for two minutes, whispering for one minute and singing for one minute.

Then enjoy your tea as a mindful nourishing practice of presence or with connection in a group setting.
