Tasting and Ranking 4 Different Dwarf Tomatoes By Taste and Overall

Follow
Midwest Gardener

In this video I'm going to do a taste test of 4 different dwarf tomatoes from the Dwarf Tomato Project. I will rank them from #4 to #1 by taste, and then by overall performance in my garden.
When it comes to taste, everyone has their own opinions on what tastes good and what doesn't. If you like the looks of one that I don't like, don't let that hold you back if you want to grow it. I'm just giving you my opinion of what I think. None of these tomatoes had tough skins.
The 4 tomatoes are in no particular order are Uluru Ochre, Boronia, Tasmanian Chocolate, and Firebird Sweet.
The Tasmanian Chocolate was created from a cross made between New Big Dwarf and Paul Robeson.
Uluru Ochre was created from a cross made between Orange Heirloom and Rosella Purple.
Firebird Sweet was created from a cross made between Dwarf Wild Fred and Beauty King.
Boronia was created from a cross made between New Big Dwarf and Paul Robeson.
The nice thing about dwarf tomatoes from the Dwarf Tomato Project is that they have the great heirloom taste in a plant that is a more manageable size.
