*Sydney McLaughlinLevrone Is Finally Back | Can Femke Bol Respond? || Track and Field 2024*

American queen of hurdles Sydney McLaughlinLevrone has finally made an Olympic season debut after a long period off the track. McLaughlinLevrone hasn’t competed since winning the 400meter flat at the U.S. Championships in July last season. Despite having qualified to represent the USA in women’s 400 meters and the 400meter hurdles at the worlds in Budapest, McLaughlinLevrone withdrew citing a minor knee injury. And so the injury denied her the chance to defend her 400meter hurdles title and to test her form in the 400meter flat on the big stage. But again her decision to prioritize her health in preparation for the Olympic Games in Paris was just welladvised.
