In this video I show a great H0 model railway layout on a scale of 1 to 87, which I also presented in the Märklin Magazin (issues 4/2023 and 4/2023). It is based on threewire Ktracks from Märklin and is located in a nearly ninemeterlong basement room in Mühldorf, Upper Bavaria. The theme of the layout is a Swiss mountain line on the Gotthard north ramp, along with the stations at Erstfeld and Wassen. The layout has its main playing level at the station of Erstfeld at 92 cm. Wassen station is at a height of 125 cm and the upper shadow station at 150 cm. Below the playing level, there are two large shadow stations at a level of 70 cm.

The system has been lovingly built by Thomas M. since 1998/99 and is always being detailed. Later, his son Michael also got involved in building the layout and playing with the model railway. Most track curves have the great circle radii of 424.6 and 553.9 mm. In addition, points with a radius of 902.4 mm are almost exclusively installed. In the first part of the video I show many details of the system. From minute 7 the following locomotives and trains can be seen in sequence: Re 460, Austrian Crocodile, Re 465, Danish Litra E, E 71, RAe TEE II and ICE 4.
