It was a perfect day at the SW nest! M15 flies in with fluff and F23 flies in to help him spread it. They do some nest work and digging. F23 then lies in the nest ♥ Lots of fluff brought in to cover that log! M15 arrives with a stick he steps on F23 she gets up with soft vocals. M15 then tests out the nest.

M15 goes to the cam and sees his reflection in the cam lens and makes the funniest and cutest faces!! He heads to the attic and mates with F23 on the inner limb ♥

In the afternoon, they both come flying in from across the street and fly over the pasture before landing. They both perch on the upper branches and mate for a second time ♥ Then F23 will fly off and go soaring over the pasture and nest beautiful to watch.

M15 will bring a fish gift for F23. She follows him in to the nest tree, drops down to claim it and take it on the go! M15 will then head to the veranda and attic. November is the month for egg laying F23 laid her eggs last year on Nov 24th & 27th. We see them both bringing in a lot of fluff lately and also matings have increased. So has the food deliveries! We wait and watch with anticipation to see when F23 will lay her eggs hopefully in the next few weeks. Thank you for watching!
