What an exciting day! E15 has an accidental fledge today at 6:41 PM while trying to get back to the nest from the outer branch and misses it and lands on a branch below. E15 kept trying to figure out how to get to the nest when the branch it was on broke. E15 glided to the ground and into the grass. E15 flew from the ground to the fence by the Pritchett driveway. Three horses came walking by and scared E15 off and E15 flew back towards the office oak and on to the grass near the pond pylons! E15 rested for awhile on the grass and then flew back towards the nest tree and was later seen on one of the front pine trees roosting safely for the nest! Congratulations E15 on your maiden voyage!
