G'day Guys and Gals!

In this video I show you all of the steps necessary to install a Snorkel to your JB74 Suzuki Jimny. I chose to fit a MEGA JIMNY 3.0 Snorkel to my Suzuki Jimny due to it being a seamless fit. It also doesn't require any drilling or cutting to install the Snorkel to the vehicle.

Fitting a Snorkel to your 4x4 vehicle is a great addition. It give you piece of mind and is a bit of an insurance policy against getting water into your engine. On my Suzuki Jimny I installed the MEGA JIMNY 3.0 Supa Sleek Snorkel. This snorkel raises the intake of the vehicle from in the engine bay to up near the roof or top of the door.

The installation of the MEGA JIMNY Supa Sleek Snorkel 3.0 is really easy. Follow these steps to install the snorkel
1. Remove the wiper arms
2. Remove the plenum metal panel
3. Remove the Drivers side trim pannel
4. Remove the trim support panel
5. Remove the 10mm bolt at back of guard
6. Remove the bonnet hinge and support bonnet while fitting snorkel
7. Reassemble in the reverse order and tighten all snorkel bolts
8. Remove factory intake pipe to airbox
9. Fit new intake pipe to snorkel and airbox
10. ALL DONE :)

In this video I give you a step by step tutorial on how to fit the Snorkel to your Suzuki Jimny. This will give you the confidence to carry out the install yourself and save heaps of cash!

Fitting a raised air intake to your vehicle will stop water entering during deep water crossings. This will also allow cooler fresher air to enter the intake system and give a marginal gain in response.

There are a lot of different brand snorkels on the market, the Safari, TJM, Ironman 4x4. All of these snorkels require cutting or drilling into the panel work which can have issues with corrosion of the panels if not sealed correctly. The MEGA JIMNY Supa Sleep Snorkel requires no cutting or drilling. This is what makes the Supa Sleek Snorkel for the Suzuki Jimny JB74 so special.

If you are thinking of installing a snorkel to your Suzuki Jimny then you will have a lot of different options. Lots of people like the Stainless Steel Snorkels or the ABS Plastic snorkels. Both are great options but they will all require trimming or cutting to install them to the vehicle.

The Mega Jimny Supa Sleek Snorkel Kit includes all of the parts necessary to install it to your Suzuki Jimny. You will require some basic hand tools and I also used some felt tape for behind the snorkel head. You will need
1. Phillips Head Screw driver
2. 10mm ratchet and socket
3. 10mm Spanner
4. 7mm socket on small screw adapter for hose clamps
5. small flat blade screw driver for plastic clips
6. multiple towels or rags to protect panels

After installing the snorkel to the vehicle you will notice that the intake sounds louder and growls under load. This is the induction through the snorkel. The custom intake pipe needs to be positioned correctly to clear the A/C pipe and the brake master cylinder. The positioning is very important as the intake pipe flexes and moves with the engine.
