As an employee of a local TV News station, I recruited some of my coworkers to help me make a fake newscast that would be shown at my girlfriend's college graduation party. The reporters speak about an "amazing event" that is about to take place and how it is "a great thing for the city" but they never quite say exactly what "it" is. My girlfriend and her family & guests assumed it was something to do with her graduating from college but as it turns out, "it" was a marriage proposal that I delivered in person (NOT on video)at the appropriate time while the video was playing. I knocked this proposal out of the park! Only a few key people knew what to expect. The rest were totally surprised.
