The Sureflap Microchip Pet Feeder is certainly not without its limitations being really only suitable for small/medium pets up to around 15kg and it can't stop the food being raided from the front or side whilst the feeder is open. But it is pretty sturdy and still seems to work a lot easier than manually having to keep tabs on who is eating who's food because lets face it... the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence (or in the other food bowl!). And of course the puppy dogs normally make great sport of raiding the cat food bowls! Hmmmmm..... I wonder if they make something similar for kitty litter trays....?

It took approximately 1 week to condition the cats to using the feeder (and not be suspicious and/or terrified of it when it moved). The instruction manual provided does a great job of breaking the conditioning/training process into small, manageable steps.

You can get different coloured bowls and mats if you want to differentiate feeders when you have more than one.
