Super Mario Odyssey is my favorite game of all time, but it's not perfect. There are a few things in odyssey that bring the experience slightly down, but none of them are more prominent than the one in the mushroom kingdom. Toadette acts as achievements for super mario odyssey, and while the concept is good, I don't feel like it was done very well here. So today I'm going to compare toadette to other achievements in games like smash ultimate and minecraft, to show why she's Mario Odyssey's biggest flaw. However, this is also the fourth episode of level by level, meaning that I'll also be analyzing the entire mushroom kingdom. I'll talk about how the kingdom actually does a great job referencing and having Easter eggs for previous mario games like mario 64 and how it also does a good job reminding you of the journey odyssey takes you on. most prominently in the odyssey boss fight rematches.
