Caring for these animals is such a blessing. Each one of them is so very special. We love how different each one is. Their strengths and weaknesses. How they love us and each other. How they love this life they have helped make for themselves. And they show us everyday.

Racing through the gate to run in the paddock, swim in the dam, chase the bike and roll in the soft grass. They playfully wrestle, lovingly lick each other, watch over the children and in the evening snuggle up close and dream together of tomorrow’s new and wonderful adventures of a life they truly deserve. And they live it every day.

Each one is not without their own journey here. Trauma, abandonment, aggression, impairments, disorders, surgeries, poached … to name a few.

And whilst there are many days that are not perfect, and neither are any of us perfect either … we all work hard to make this work … but somehow it just feels right.

I truly feel this extends to you all as well. Somehow we found each other.

Just felt like sharing this. Seeing the dogs so happy simply brings us so much happiness too. And from the letters and messages, we feel it brings many of you happiness also. We feel so blessed to be a part of this.
