Calgary Avansino moved to London from the West Coast of America in 2000 and soon after, landed the role as the Editor's assistant at British Vogue. Twoandahalf years later she took the leap and claimed a seat in Vogue's beauty department as Wellbeing Editor, before moving up the ranks over the next 8 years to eventually become the Executive Fashion Director and Digital Project Director a position she held for five years.

In early 2013, Calgary left her fulltime position at Vogue to become a Contributing Editor, and balance her career at the publication with an entrepreneurial venture into the world of wellness.

From this, her wellness website www.calgaryavansino.com was born, encompassing her tips, recipes and advice for reaching success by living a healthier lifestyle.
