Many street dogs and strays in the Philippines suffer from terrible skin diseases. We encountered a sweet little puppy at Oslob Port that was desperately in need of our help, and luckily we had supplies in our backpacks to help him out! Some helpful port workers and tricycle drivers took us on a mission to get additional medication from a pharmacy and a vet clinic, so we could help treat the mange that was making this poor dog so miserable.

Most dogs in the Philippines with skin conditions like this suffer from mange a skin parasite that causes hairloss over their whole body and painful skin infections. Luckily this can be treated with medication from your veterinarian.
