Building my own Jeep and taking it across the Rubicon Trail was at the top of my 4x4 bucket list. The entire trip was chaotic as I finished the Jeep 12 hours after I was supposed to leave for California, and ended up testing the entirely new setup right on the trail. Overall, the Jeep performed excellent and walked over obstacles I didn't think was possible. Driving through Rubicon Springs and out the other side near Lake Tahoe was one of the most rewarding moments I've ever had.
