For our february hike we decided to rent a car and go to Florarna near Uppsala. The terrain was really rough since it was covered in snow that had melted and then frozen again. This made it so that the crusty snow held for some steps but not for others, meaning you sometimes walked on top of the snow to the suddenly dropping through to the ground. Add to this that the area consists of a lot of swamp land with boardwalks to get across that we then couldn't see, it was definitely a bit of a challenge sometimes.
