This palace found in Japan houses 83 buildings and even more ghosts, so the stories say anyway. This historic castle dates back to 1333 and has seen many battles, toward the close of World War II the grounds were heavily bombed, the surrounds lands were destroyed, yet the castle remained. In 1995 a terrific earthquake crashed through the lands and yet this castle remains, even the bottle of sake placed on the altar at the top floor remained standing. Many stories of spooks and ghouls live here, but the most popular tale has to do with Okiku's Well, where the deranged spirit of a serving girl who was accused of theft and then thrown down to drown there is whispered to still reside. The legend goes that at night her restless spirit will climb the stone water drenched walls and stalk the castle complex.

8 The Kremlin
This fortified complex located in the heart of Moscow Russia is the base of operations for the Russian government, and if the rumours are true, once an officer is stationed here, they rarely leave. Archaeological digs have revealed that humans lived in the area where the Kremlin now stands as far back as 500 BC, meaning this creepy government building is built straight on top of a super ancient native Russian burial ground! Spooky! Ivan the Terrible one of the Nation's most horrible and disturbing czars once lived here, the stories of his malice are staggering, his demonic, decrepit, d lusional spirit is one of the many often spotted roaming these icy halls. The ghostly apparition of Vladimir Lenin as well as Joseph Stalin are also often seen here.

7 Saint Michan's Church
Located on Church Street in Dublin Ireland, this Protestant Church has been standing for nearly a thousand years and over time has grown quite full of residents who just so happen to be of the undead variety. The vaults below are said to contain some rather unsettling mummified remains. Among them are the well preserved bodies of a 400yearold nun, a six and a half foot tall man believed to have once been a crusader, the Sheares brothers doomed heroes of the 1798 rebellion, the Earl of Leitrim and a rather curious skeleton which has had its feet and right hand severed. All of which are said to remain as sinister spirits haunting this ancient house of God. Rumours remain that those who still worship here are actually a group of demonic Satanists, hence why the parish is closed to the public on Sundays.
