This method is one technique you can use to stop quickly stop your dog from pulling on the leash. This particular method incorporates positive reinforcement.

Here are the basic steps to stop leash pulling:
1) Do not continue to move forward when there is tension on your leash.
2) When your dog hits the end of your leash, stop and move backwards.
3) Reward your dog with treats for coming back to you.
4) Fade out the food rewards as you progress
