Stop doing this with your tractor grapple to avoid bending your grapple like I did. Somedays I live and learn more than others, today was one of those days. To be honest, the tines have bent very little over time with alot of use moving everything from stumps and brush to big logs. The bending has happened so slowly that at times I never even knew it was happening. Despite the issue, this HLA 66" root rake with grapple is a good work horse and certainly does everything I need it to when paired to my 2012 Kioti DK40se HST. Watch this video today to make sure you avoid this one manuver that has lead to this bending of the tines. There's lots of other ways to move the log the way that I mention in this video and so make it a habitat to keep your equipment in good shape. In this video you'll also get a look at how my grapple is hooked up to my hydraulics without the need for a thirdfunction.
