So I usually prefer to just get a rental car and drive to certain mustsee locations myself, but in the case of Stonehenge, Bath & Windsor Castle it's absolutely worth it to take a bus tour if you're stationed in London.

STONEHENGE:
Unesco world heritage site
Salisbury Plain, man made stones
Built over 5,000 years ago, it's reasons are mostly a mystery which is what makes it so cool
Took over 1,000 years to build
No one knows how it was built, the stones are HUGE and super heavy
You literally just walk up and see the stones, there's not much else to do
Considering how far it is from London (23 hours) and you have to drive on the left side of the road, it's nice to have the bus so it doesn't waste the whole day
BATH:
England was at one point a part of the Roman Empire for almost 400 years
Bath is also a UNESCO world heritage site
Known as one of the most beautiful cities in England, it feels like you are walking through the ancient streets of the Roman empire
Named bath after these stillstanding Roman built public baths
City was built on natural hot springs which is why the romans built a bath here
You can't bathe here unlike Japanese baths, but it's seriously so cool to get an in depth tour of what the Roman occupied England used to look like.
They have videos recreating what it would have looked like
WINDSOR:
This is where the Royal Family actually lives. Buckingham palace is technically where they work (Queen comes here on the weekend)
Windsor is where a lot of famous actors live like Michael Cain (Alfred from Batman movies), Johnny Depp, Nick Cage
Windsor is the largest occupied castle in the world over 900 years in operation
Over 40 British Monarchs have lived here
