Here's a vintage John Deere with the original patina! It's a 1937 John Deere B, on steel, with the cultivators, and it's prized now by Jimmy Ayer of Pennsylvania. Jimmy focuses his tractor collecting on original condition machines. The model B was introduced in 1935 and stayed in Deere's lineup until 1952. The twocylinder engine pulled about 25 HP on the drawbar. This is one of the tractors meant to replace the horse on American farms during the Great Depression and the years that followed.
