In this video you will learn how to create and configure a Ubuntu Linux virtual machine (VM) on UNRAID We specifically cover the stepbystep process of creating the virtual machine, downloading and installing Ubuntu Server, configuring SSH and enable the outofthebox firewall that comes with Ubuntu Server (UFW).


At the end of the video we go do some initial server hardening (firewall and change the default SSH port) before logging in to our server using SSH from a Windows computer.
