Starving swan goes mad for food

Follow
Wildlife Aid

Sometimes, all it takes to help an animal recover is a bit of rest and food, and the transformation can be massive!

This swan arrived at Wildlife Aid in a very poor condition. She could barely hold her head up and would quickly have died if left in the wild. She was rushed in to see surgical vet nurse, Lucy, who quickly hooked her up to a drip.

Amazingly, after just a few minutes of fluid therapy, the swan started to perk up and was soon eating with gusto! Before long she was looking much better and, after a final sign off from a delighted Lucy, she was able to be released back into the wild.
