Starting procedures for the M35A2 6x6 military cargo truck. (Called a deuce & a half because of its 2.5 ton offroad carrying capacity). I should note that some recommend cranking the engine with the fuel shutoff still out for a few seconds to make sure the engine is not hydrolocked from a leaky head gasket, etc. If the engine fires right away & a cylinder is hydrolocked, it will bend a rod. However I will have to admit that I usually don't do this, especially if it has recently been started.
