Today, we will be starting a small town in Ep. 7 of Cascadia Bay. This new town is called Avalon, it is set in the state of Washington just across the river from the other cities we've built so far. Avalon is primarily focused on the forestry and logging industry, we will be building out the town with a focus on making it look and feel as realistic as possible, taking inspiration from the small town of Ilwaco, Washington.

We will also be building a harbor and marina with lots of sailboats, a large rail yard where cargo trains stop to deliver forestry products as well as a dedicated cargo shipping harbor for the forestry industry. Also shout out to ‪@fewcandy‬ for the amazing tip in her railyard video about using Network Skins to remove train wires, I had no idea you could do that beforehand.

The Cascadia Bay region is set in the US Pacific Northwest along the border of Oregon and Washington in the real life region surrounding Astoria. In this video we will work on the starting layout, create a large detailed cargo harbor, a custom bridge, toll crossing and downtown skyline.
