Pet studio photography is a simple and weatherprotected way to run sessions BUT there's usually one concern the pets + the pop of the flash. Using these quick steps, 99.9% of all the animals you work with from dog to cat to horse will be absolutely fine with the flash so you can shoot to your hearts content!

The steps covered are straightforward desensitization steps to pair the popping of a flash with something good (food, toys, praise, release etc). Just like pavlov and his dogs, the flash in studio photography quickly becomes rewarding rather than worrying for the animal. Win win.

It takes a few minutes but it can save a whole session!
