The farming sim genre had something of a chokehold on the gaming scene for quite a few years and the game responsible for this boom was without a question, Stardew Valley. The Harvest Moon spiritual successor that just got it's 1.6 update and had us falling in love with it all over again!
So we decided to talk about HOW Stardew Valley managed to do what Harvest Moon didn't, start a faming sim revolution so big that you can't get move through the steam new and trending section without stepping in one!
