Staffies and Pitbulls often get confused for each other and the term Pitbull is usually thrown around for all types of breeds.

Although the Staffordshire Bull Terrier and Pitbull share bloodlines, they are not the same breed and there are distinct differences between the two dogs.

Staffies, for example, are much smaller than Pitbulls, and Pitbulls tend to be leaner.
