Seemingly born fully formed in 2012, the Birmingham, Alabamabased St Paul and the Broken Bones hit the ground as big and strong as their sweatsoaked, sevenpiece SoulFunk sound, earning major raves from major media, including Paste magazine, Garden and Gun, Southern Living, Rolling Stone, and NPR. Fronted by Paul “St. Paul” Janeway, one of the most intense, charismatic lead singers to command a stage since James Brown, The Broken Bones have played festivals like Coachella and Bonnaroo and opened for The Rolling Stones.
