SRRSZ Mogyorós is a former gypsum quarry and presently an openrubble trainign site for SAR dogs under development. It boasts an acacia woods in its western part, a large, relatively flat area in the middle of the quary, with numerous 2 m to 4 m high mounds of gypsum slabs, several smaller strcutures and pits in its northwestern corner, along with a 15 m tall and 15 m wide reinforced concrete terrace wall. Moreover, it has a height difference of roughly 100 m stretching over two terraces, that will allow for the simulation of deep (4 m to 40 m) human scent, very closely reproducing and simulating scenarios of force majeur aftermaths. Deep gratitude is owed to the @SiniatRomania and the Munincipality of Aghireşu, our partners, who from the very beginning promptly supported and aided us, sparing no time, in developing this openrubble site.
