SPICY ASPARAGUS SPEARS

1 1/2 lbs. fresh asparagus, trimmed
1 to 3 tbsp. extravirgin olive oil
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. spicy seasoning
1/2 black pepper
1/2 tbls. rosemary & garlic seasoning
1 to 2 tbsp. unsalted butter

1. Snap off the woody fiber ends at the bottom of the spears. Wash the asparagus thoroughly in cold running water.
2. Heat skillet over medhigh heat, add butter and olive oil. When the butter is melted, add asparagus and seasoning mix.
3. Cook until the asparagus is tender, SERVE HOT.
