The spicer 18 variant was used in all Willy 4x4’s from 19411972(early) before being replaced by the Dana 20. The spicer 18 transfer case is a cast iron 2speed gear drive unit. The most common low range ratio is 2.46:1 (civilian) it has a offset rear output with passenger side drop.
