Southern Smothered Chicken and Gravy

Step 1.
Ingredient:
1 tablespoon Olive Oil
1 Large onion, sliced
1/2 tablespoon Weber's Herb Garden Seasoning
Set stove top to medhigh heat, use a deep pot or dutch pot add olive oil, onions and Herb Garden seasoning...cook for 5 mins. remove from the pot and set aside.

Step 2.
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon olive oil
7 boneless chicken thighs
1 teaspoon allpurpose seasoning
1/2 tablespoon Tones Garlic and Herb Seasoning
1 teaspoon black pepper
Adjust your heat to low, add olive oil, boneless chicken thighs and seasonings to the pot. Adjust heat to med. high heat, stir meat well...cook for 5 to 8 mins. remove chicken from pot. and set aside.

Step 3.
Ingredients:
1/2 stick, unsalted butter
2 1/2 tablespoons Roux Flour (click the link below for the roux flour recipe)
   • Easy & Simple Dry Roux Flour Good for...  
1/2 tablespoon olive oil
water
1 teaspoon herb garden
1/2 tablespoon Tones Rosemary and garlic Seasoning
1/2 tablespoon, minced garlic
1 teaspoon garlic pepper
ADD: butter, roux flour, olive oil to the pot...stir well, add water a little bit at a time. keep stirring until it comes to a simmer, ADD: Seasoning.
ADD: onions and boneless thighs to your pot, cover with a lid...cook for 10 15 minutes or until the meat is folk tender.
SERVE: over mashed potatoes, rice and this goes well with any side dish.
