Jeremy and Dave head to Southern Illinois on April 8th to see what kind of affect the solar eclipse will have on snakes and other wildlife. They will be camping near Snake Road but plan on starting their adventure by kayaking to another area that has some hidden gems and large specimens including huge timber rattlesnakes, cottonmouths and rat snakes. We will be herping the area before and after the eclipse occurs and will eventually make our way to the famous Snake Road to see if there’s any activity. We missed the initial snake migration with the crazy weather but with a combination of warm sunny days and lunar activity, we’re bound to find something. Join us on this very unique trip as we watch the eclipse in totality on one of the best viewing spots around.
