Well here’s a cool video from South Lake Tahoe. That week I was planning to film STR or TTSD when I was up there. My route day was a day I wasn’t there so I went over to the Tuesday route and went up and down the streets looking for a orange truck, in the back of the neighborhood we found these really cool drivers doing the route. These guys work hard and get the job done. Their hustle is really entertaining. They got Those bear boxes so the wildlife doesn’t get to the trash, it’s pretty simple for a human and not a bear to get the trash. It’s a key attached to the box we gotta to spin and pull out to open the box and get the cans/bags of trash. If they don’t have a bear box they have these bear proof containers that you have to spin to get the bags out. The older houses have Rubbermaid with a bungee cord to keep it on. For recycling they have blue bags on be carry can , after they dump the container they put a blue bag into there. You have to put all your recyclables in the blue bag and put it in your can tied up after they dump it at the MRF they sort it and take the recycle out. Cool and interesting System. One thing that I Noticed that all three drivers in the cab, the first driver is in the driver seat, the second one on the passenger and the third guy sits on the dog house ( the engine cover) inside on top. Cool but not really safe. Next year I should be up there Hopefully something else then the 320s but this is way better then boring
