The Sourland Mountains are a small mountain range in central New Jersey. I grew up near this area and unfortunately never really appreciated them: the elevation gain is only 568 feet, there aren't many sweeping landscape views, and the hiking isn't particularly challenging. But there is just something special about it, something I'm sure many who live in this area can relate to. So I took my camera with me on a few hikes and tried my best to capture why I love this place so much.

Quick note: Some shots were grabbed near the preserve but not in or on it (the small waterfall is at Zion Crossing Park, for example)
